is one of the best examples i know of people with stockholm syndrome. she was a socialite way back in 1974, then she got kidnapped. later on, as she managed to be set free, she joined SLA, the faction that abducted her. although, playing with the definition of stockholm syndrome a little bit, i believe what patty hearst experienced was not a romantic relationship with the people in the faction - instead she fell in love with what they were fighting for.

i just wanted to post this because the photo's too cool. saw it in krist novoselic's (nirvana bassist) blog hahaha.

my first study was too serious according to mary moon. she remembered, though, that i had this one weird photo of two urinals. then i came up with the question: how would quentin tarrantino design an album cover with a tinge of psychadelia? here's what i ended up dealing with. i feel like i overdosed on color. but it was worth it!

last night, i watched pascalene. they, as usual, were off the hook.

i'm very proud to be brother bands with them under the same production, mary moon.

i really missed watching gigs! also, i saw the band gasulina tonight. they're pretty cool, they sound like orson! funny lang, a couple of minutes into one of their songs i noticed how their guitarist is so influenced by metallica. tapos, sa breakdown ng last song nila, he played "for whom the bell tolls." love that song!

i believe dj-ing is all about playing the right songs at the right time, knowing perfectly the cues. i didn't perform well, i know. i'm so disappointed at myself. i have next week to redeem myself though, hopefully a lot of people can come. i'm so ashamed of my set today.

in the other side of the world, i'm really loving up dharma down's new album. i remember waking up to the song "Blessed" one morning, and it gave me one huge existential shock. i usually have those things for breakfast but UDD served me really well. everyone should go get a copy of that album, Bipolar, because it's a milestone in the Philippine music scene, at least i think so.
