the universe is not playing fair

i just want a fight.

give me fuel.
give me fire.
give me that which i desire.
-metallica, fuel

"go ahead... make my millennium."

beetlejuice - i wasn't so fond of everything in it but i'm pretty sure it broke a lot of cinematic ground rules from way back. imagine, it was screened at '88, the year i was born! beetlejuice must've been cool. i understand why. the horror was just right and its balance with the film's sentimental side. and of course the part where this film tries to break away from mainstream cinema was quite a success. but honestly, i thought the script could've been improved. still, props to tim burton. and danny eflman for the fucking good music.

my favorite sequence. it was so cheesy that it was funny.

"lydia, being dead doesn't make things any easier."
(p.s. i loved winona ryder. i have a crush on her character. <3)
